The Mystery of the “Lows Sesame”

Posted by Matt on October 4, 2008

I was browsing through my blog stats earlier today and saw that someone found my blog by searching the term “lows sesame.” HUH?!?!? What in the world is a “lows sesame” and why do people care about it? I’m very intrigued. After thinking how “lows sesame” is connected to my page, I finally realized I used to word “lows” in my blog about John McCain suspending the baseball season and I have the picture of “Sesame Street” in the blog of Laveranues Coles. But why is someone searching for “lows sesame?” Do they think the price of stock of Sesame Seeds has plummeted with the recent decline of the stock market? Were they drunk or on drugs? I really want to know this. Help me out people…

I googled, yahoo’ed, dog-piled and just plain searched engined to find if there was a page that would explain it. There was no, “lows sesame” just directed me to a bunch of nonsense…I’m so confused. As the late-great Mitch Hedberg said, “What the fuck is a sesame? It’s a street…It’s a way to open shit.” Was someone trying to google a way to open a low street? Were they trying to find the lowest prices of bulk sesame seeds? I cannot think of one criteria where someone needed to search “lows sesame,” it just doesnt make any sense.

So, my dedicated readers…please send your suggestions/solutions. Or if the culprit of the “lows sesame” google is out there, please identify yourself and why you searched it. Did you find what you were looking for on my blog? I need to know because I may not sleep until I figure this mystery out…
